Countertop basins - dating?

Looking to replace a bathroom
Countertop basin would be good from a couple of points of view but I've no idea if it would look dated v quickly? Prefer rectangular over round for this reason
Thoughts?
I don't want to have to replace in 10 years as rarely used

Personally I think they’re very “now” (or more specifically 2 years ago) and will date very quickly. Sorry!
