Is this too dated?

Just found this online and it saves us having to get a separate chest of drawers and I like the full length mirror, but I remember friends of mine having things like this in their room about 20 years ago. You know with the little shelves and mirror above the drawers?
Is it a bit outdated or old fashioned?

I really like it and it has everything together. I am a sucker for space saving though 

In terms of being dated, I think it would depend on how the rest of the room is decorated.

It's not unlike the fitted stuff I had in my room as a teen 40 years ago but so what - have whatever you want in your bedroom, it's not like you're going to have lots of judgy people in there is it? (I hope not!)

The man thing is to check the build quality, it's the sort of thing that could be flimsy.
