I’ve been trying to find inspiration for our bedroom (which has never ever been decorated) but keep drawing blanks. Does anyone have any help or tips or good ideas? We currently don’t even have wardrobes just rails on one side of the wall but were willing and able to give it a complete overhaul. Help pls

Have a look on pininterest or try some home decor magazines, also what do you like? Is it strong colours, modern furniture or pastels & more traditional furnishings, that normally helps trying to narrow down styles/colours.

DIY on a budget on FB, so many ideas on there.

I’ve been trawling Pinterest but nothing has jumped out at me. I keep coming back to silver but also looking at blush/rose gold.
Thanks will have a look at that fb page now

Well that’s a start Op, least you have an idea of the colours you like I would also definitely look at some home magazines, also I think another website called houzz.

It depends on the size of the room and style of the rest of your house- is it modern or a period property, does it have high ceilings, a fireplace, large or small windows etc.

Yy pp, makes a huge difference especially when thinking about colours/furnishings & decorative stuff.

Our home is newly bought council semi detached. We have done up a few rooms and trying to make it less ‘standard’ if that makes sense. We literally have only ever painted white over the wood chip wallpaper and has an old patched in carpet. We have lived here 10 years.

Congrats on your new home Looneytune do you have any idea of when it was built as that might help with styles, do you have any original features or is it a blank canvas?

Also I love Rightmove, often have a look on it just to be nosey & sometimes you can get some ideas from the pictures of homes.

Good idea @dontcallmelen it’s 1950s but it’s bog standard council at the moment.
