Velvet dining table chairs, with kids?!

Hi
I like the Margot dining chairs from made dot com. They are 100% polyester, does that make any difference to stain resistance? Or could I use some sort of cover whilst kids are still little? Thanks!

have you bought them yet? if not don't, don't buy anything that can't be wiped cleaned until the kids are 18

We have dark grey velvet knocker back dining chairs and I put a towel down before my toddler sits on one.

Unless you're going to prevent your children from going anywhere near them, don't bother. Not only will food stain them but they'll wear out too from climbing on and off them, shoes on them and just general use.

My MIL has fabric dining chairs, and my kids wipe their hands on them while eating.

So no. Unfortunately :(

Ask them to be covered in plastic prior to delivery..
Then leave it on!!

Sadly I also have to say no. It's why I have dining chairs with removable covers.

Thanks everyone. I’ll have a look at next, they have faux leather or fabric protection options x
