What do you think of patterned splashbacks?

I love the Mediterranean sort of vibe but I fear they may date. I have a white wooden kitchen with wooden worktops.

How far up the wall do you have them? Half way up? Full wall?

I love this look.
Currently looking at similar for my kitchen. I'd just have around a foot high of tiles from worktop.

I have some very similar to these and I love them. Have four rows around the sink/draining board.
