Can you get command strips in the U.K.? Maybe try amazon... but they’re super sticky strips you can use to hang up any art you like without leaving a single mark on the wall. We use them in our rented flat and love them. Then scour charity shops, flea markets, go to IKEA for some fun art! Or stick up framed family photos. Anything to make it uniquely yours!

I have some photos of the kids I can stick up as a start and will look in the charity shops. I do have a case but cut flowers are so expensive! Might keep an eye out for some cheap plants too, and get some fake flowers for the vase. I'm not meant to mark the walls of drill them as its a temp flat and I could get moved but likely to be here up to a year and 6-9 months at least from sounds of things so want to make it home too. I've gone through cleaning everything and moving things around, but everything is basically black, white or magnolia and plain and I love colour and art. Xx
