What colour for my small bedroom?

I have a really small bedroom. I have fitted wardrobes and with only the bed and a chest of drawers there's not much space left. The fitted wardrobes are white. Carpet is grey. The chest of drawers could be repainted to whatever colour I like so I don't need to worry about matching the furniture.

What kind of colour should I go for? I'm not a fan of bright colours in bedrooms. Blues seem a little cold. I want paint, not paper.

What will work well in a small room to make it cosy?

Blush is quite a nice colour and not too overwhelming in a small room

Pink isn't really my thing. I'm not at all girly and never buy anything pink. I want something contemporary but not too cold. I have a lot of grey in the house but it doesnt seem right in a bedroom.

What about a duck egg, bluey green? I had that in a bedroom with grey carpet and white furniture and it looked lovely.

How about sage green?

Maybe. Does green work in the bedroom? It seems like a downstairs colour! I do already have sage green elsewhere in the house.

I've got a darker muted sage in the bedroom, but only on 2 walls. I've got a clotted cream colour on the other 2 walls. I think it works.

How grey is the carpet? Is it an old or modern house?

Lavender or lavender side of grey?

Duck egg blue can be warm. We have Little Greene 'Brighton'.

Unless carpet is very pale grey I would think need to stay in grey/purple/blue area.

Good luck!

I was going to say a blush or any combination of colour that says white in it. So for example a duck egg white which is a more subtle duck egg.

You can use the dulux visualiser to help you in their website.

I find it quite a calming, relaxing colour so I think it would work in the bedroom.

It will also go with a grey carpet.
