Jungle/rainforest theme - would you?

In our dining room we have a lot of furniture crafted from real trees, it's all unique, hand-crafted stuff. Some friends suggested we use the furniture as a base for a jungle/rainforest theme, maybe some bold leaf-pattern wallpaper on a feature wall etc . Dh is really keen. Just wondering if anyone would do this? Or if you all think it would look crap

Depends how far you take the theme. Interesting wallpaper would be fine. Vines, rainfall feature and stuffed animals would not be fine.

I think this is a lovely idea!

I wouldn't - I love interesting wooden pieces but I enjoy fitting them into a room, juxtaposing with more modern aspects of decor. A theme would feel OTT and costume-y to me. I'd enjoy it in someone elses house I think, so if you like the idea you should go for it! But it wouldn't be for me.
