Could anyone tell me how they find the IKEA Tidafors sofas? Thinking of getting a 2 and 3 seater, but reviews I found on an Australian site slated them! Would really appreciate some more recent reviews. Huge thanks!

Absolutely fabulous sofa .....we have the 3 seater and love it. It's comfy and the back is high enough that it's comfortable behind your head. Be aware however it comes on a pallet so unless you have a van get it delivered.
It's also easy to build so useful for getting in through tight doorways etc and when moving

I say go for it

We got a three and a two a year ago and they've not worn well at all. They look bobbly and scruffy to the point they could do with replacing already. They are comfortable but I wouldn't recommend them.

Thank you! 😊 Can I ask how long you've had them please? Thanks.

Very very comfortable, but slightly 'rustic' looking. If you get one, also get a footstool.

Weve had ours 2years and absolutely love them. Ours have been sat on every single day and slept on regularly when either me or DP cant sleep/is unwell. Happy to answer any questions

Can I ask which fabric option people have? I'm wondering if that's the difference in how well they wear?

MissCherryCakeyBun · 03/10/2018 19:28

Just over a year and we have the dark grey one. Not found any issues with the fabric. Agree on the footstool as that makes it uber comfy. Have found the cushions keep their spring too.

SayNoToCarrots · 03/10/2018 19:34

Dark grey for just over a year, in good condition. We unwrapped it at ikea to get it in the car! It's very comfortable but you can't remove and wash the covers and it's raised just enough off the ground for stuff to get under it but not enough to get a vacuum or broom under there.

I have the dark brown. It's quite a loose weave, so that might be the reason it looks saggy. The cushions themselves are still comfortable.

TheGirlWithGlassFeet, which colour did you have please?
