We’re finally going to be able to decorate our 2 year old dd’s room in the next month or so and I’m so stuck as to what to do, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions

I’ve fallen in love with these bedding sets from Zara, but ideally would love something a bit cheaper really. I don’t mind paying for quality though and I want something snuggly and soft against her skin

My main thing for her is that I want it to be a room that she can grow into. So, I don’t want it to be full of characters or too babyish

I’ve tried Pinterest, but I’m getting so overwhelmed. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

what about a candyland kind of theme? you could get a bedspread like this: link a pillow or 2 on it like this link and then a wallsticker with your daughters name on the wall? like this one link all the best!

forgot to add you could also have something like this in the corner of the room as a playspace

If you want a room that will grow, stay away from pink walls and such like. A soft grey with white woodwork (or similarly neutral palette) and then use lamps and soft furnishings that you can easily change to let the room grown.

If you buy your favourite ness sing set from Zara, you can use the colours to pick out cushions, a blind and a rug. A few framed pictures - baby footprints, vintage storybook illustrations - that kind of thing, and you’ll have a room for a baby/toddler and little girl.

I love those wall stickers, thank you Smile

We’ve actually just bought a white wardrobe for her room and her bed is going to be white wood, so it will all tie in together furniture wise

I like the idea of a soft grey and think it would be easy to pull in colours to compliment the bedding that I choose

Though my husband has just decided to tell me that he thinks we should do something animal related because she’s obsessed with animals Hmm
