Shutters- where did you get yours from?

Hi everyone,
We have a bay window in our lounge, we would love to get shutters. Also probably get for our bedrooms as well, except kid’s room.any recommendations? Where did you get yours from? Who to avaoid? And have you tried easy fix shutters? As I understand I should measure and send them to a company that does and fit myself. Seems bit scary to measure myself and fit, also wondering if quality will be the same...

Thank you. I am in Beds, probably they won’t cover. Have you compared quotes with well-known big companies?

No I didn’t get any quotes from the big company’s, ie Hilary’s etc as not heard great things, so got quotes from three local companies they weren’t hard sell & didn’t give stupid reductions on an inflated price like some of the bigger operators.
Might be worth seeing if you have a local neighbourhood forum & ask for some recommendations.

I measured myself and ordered online. It was fine, though I did fit them outside the recess rather than inside as I was too nervous about messing it up. They look great, we have them in a few rooms, including bedrooms and a mix of mdf and wood. I forget the company - it's the one Sarah Beeny promotes.
