I did mine earlier this year, I love it! Been single for 2 years now so could make it as girly as I wanted.

Oh mrs that's lovely

MrsBellamy · 25/09/2018 02:06

@maddjess thank you, I'm sure I'd need to redecorate if I was ever to share with a man again. However that's extremely unlikely so I'll enjoy my little sanctuary for now.

Do you have any ideas/colours that your thinking of? I usually find a good place to start is just putting colour/pattern you like into Pinterest or even google images and seeing what comes up there.

MrsBellamy · 25/09/2018 02:06

Sorry my first paragraph should have been to @Guiltypleasures001

2nd paragraph to @maddjess

We're in a rental so currently magnolia hell but planning for when we buy so starting to collect bits. Our wedding colours were grey and yellow so I like to have that in the bedroom. We have grey curtains, light wood furniture, and I have either grey and white paisley bedding if I'm feeling grown up or grey and white dinosaur print that I bought to cheer myself up if I'm having a bad day. Luckily DW is supportive of this. When we buy our own place I will do grey white and daffodil yellow walls similar to PP with the pink, and yellow accent lamps and cushions on the bed and maybe a throw.

maddjess · 25/09/2018 02:16

Beautiful bedroom.

I am thinking deep greys, rose gold, dusty pinks.

I have never ever understand pinterest. Google images good but I've trolled through it

We have dusky pink and grey. I only regret not going with a much lighter carpet, but with 3 little ones my hubby convinced me to go dark.

@MrsBellamy what paint did you use for the main walls? It’s gorgeous, love the frog rape as well but I don’t have the patience to do that 🤣

MrsBellamy · 11/10/2018 07:41

@coffeekittens it's B&Q colours premium the shade is called pebble shore.

Aw I love threads like these.

First pictures are our bedroom (not sure why it looks so dark - its very light and airy), second is the spare room

@MrsBellamy is pebble shore a shade of
pink colour? It looks it in your bedroom photo but the b&q website it looks more grey.

MrsBellamy · 27/10/2018 23:20

@HelloSnow yeah I would say it is a kind of dusky pink colour, I was originally aiming for grey and panicked when I first started painting the wall but I liked how it turned out in the end

HelloSnow · 27/10/2018 23:56

@MrsBellamy yes it looks lovely! I'm debating whether to do grey walls or vintage shade of pink... I want the grey and pink look. Your room looks much warmer than grey walls so I'm tempted to do something similar. I have grey carpet too so I'm worried all grey would look drab even with accessories and white furniture

chocolatebox1 · 28/10/2018 16:32

@Pearlsofmadness is yours a visprung bed? I have an identical one with a beige headboard and thought it must be the same one!

Moominfan · 28/10/2018 16:41

Loving all the pinks
