Bathroom- tiles or Vinyl

Hi,

I'm in the early stages of planning my bathroom renovation and wondered what people thought of floor tiles vs vinyl?
I'm currently leaning towards vinyl because it's warmer and would worry if I ever needed to have the tiles pulled up it would be a massive pain.

What do people think?

Thanks

Every time we have had vinyl - even expensive, well fitted vinyl - we've eventually ended up with a small gap between the edge and the side of the bath which collects grot. So this time we went for tiles, and I love them - so much cleaner looking. However, we did buy an extra box full just in case any get damaged or need replaced.

Thanks for replying.
That's good advice about buying extra. I just worry if we ever needed an pipe work underneath it would be a right hassle having to pull them up.
Definitely take your point about gaps collecting dirt, not good. I suppose the only solution would be to extend the vinyl slightly under the bath if not already.

Have a look at multipanel flooring, I’m a bathroom designer and my fitters and customers love it. I’ve Had really good feedback on it!
It’s nice and warm under foot and the range of colours is pretty good.
It’s sold in most plumbers merchants so I’m sure there will be one near you which could get you some samples.
If you do prefer tiles look into under tile heat mats - they’re not as expensive as you would think.

I prefer vinyl or wood. Someone once laid my tiled floor poorly and it cracked six months later, I have never tiled a floor upstairs since!
