Where to buy a new sofa?

The time has come and we need to replace our two living room sofas. They're both from dwell and we've had a good 12 years out of them but 9 years of kids has taken its toll and they really need replaced.

Any recommendations of where to buy?

Research so far says M&S and laura Ashley not great quality.

Next variable reviews.

I like a couple of the Gplan sofas from John Lewis but need to go in and see how comfy they are.

There are lots of online options but not sure if the quality.

Big purchase so I'd like to get another 10 years out of them.

Barker & Stonehouse. Great quality but quite pricey. We've had our settee & chairs for 17 years & although the covers are a bit grubby thanks to the kids, it's still perfectly useable.

We have two sets of sofas from Sofa Workshop and I can't rate them highly enough. They are now part of the DFS chain but are in no way comparable. From memory they are hand built, have a 25 year guarantee and there is a choice of hundreds of different fabrics.
