Sofa for kitchen

We’ve got space in our new kitchen diner for a small sofa. Just tried our 2 seated in there and it doesn’t look right. It’s too much of a lounge sofa.

I think we’re looking for something a bit more upright, a bit shallower. But not a dining bench. Any suggestions? What should I be googling?

We've got a 2seater tub chair, you could google that. The trick is to have no skirt or drapey stuff I think, just clean lines.

Thank you! I think you are right about the clean lines. Didn’t realise until we tried our normal sofa

And having the legs visible also makes a difference, for some reason.

I’ve been looking for the same thing but 3 or 4 seater and don’t know what to google either. So watching this space and will post if I find anything.
