Which floor tiles for this kitchen....

So the kitchen cabinets are a slate grey/dusty grey. Worktops are now upgraded to a white quartz because I've spent far too long in kitchen showrooms and now blowing the budget out of the water so help me God .

But for the life of me, I cannot find a nice floor tile. Dh is convinced that a 60x60 floor tile will look best. I am not and very much open to suggestions.

Bear in mind that the kitchen opens up into the dining room which will have a dark polished kind of laminate, like the rest of the ground floor.

Hit me with some amazing tiles people not literally obvs especially if they're 60x60 Grin----

Forgot to add, kitchen is shaker style with polished brass handles. I do love natural textures so something slate/stone effect would be amazing.

I'm not a floor tile person really as prefer vinyl due to being very clumsy....however I would say make sure you take into account the width of doors on units. It sounds strange but if you have tiles that are a slightly different size to unit doors when you look from a distance it looks quite strange, it makes perspectives look wrong.

I would take into account also how much you love/hate cleaning kitchen floors and if it's going to be high traffic with a back foot involved. If it's a light room I would consider something like these

Having the tiles layed slightly differently can make a massive difference to how they look

Have a look at wood effect porcelain tiles in a plank shape. Lots of lovely greys available...

@MissCherryCakeyBun do you mean it looks strange when the tile is wider than the cabinet door?

@Bluesheep8 I'm looking but can't seem to find a shade that I love! Don't want to go with grey as it might be too grey then? I wanted something warmer perhaps but still light
