I'm having curtain poles put up.next week ( going for antiques brass.so silvery coloured cheapies from Argos.
I need to buy the curtains for my Windows which I need to.meaaure but are 2 metres across and floor to ceiling (70s house). I'm.not going for expensive ones as I have a 3 year old who has already drawn on the walls. Walls are magnolia, with beech laminate floor and grey sofas. Was thinking of either grey (or is grey on the way out), or deep green as I like green, furniture is all Laura Ashley honeyed oak wood in one reception room and dark Indian sheesham wood (so.mahogany colour).in the other room.

Is grey on its way out? Was thinking of a flecked design to hide grubby fingerprints...any help appreciated, budget is ikea, dunelm, argos, wilko - as cheap as possible really whike being thick enough to stop people seeing in when lights are on, must be pencil pleats as I don't like the modern style where the curtains have holes in for the pole to go through..
Any help much appreciated xx

Look at next clearance they have some good bargains, especially if you are up 5/6 in the morning when they seem to have more stock.

The green sounds great. Or green blue.
