Is F&B Parma Grey actually light blue?

I’m looking for a soft blue and can’t work out if Parma Grey is actually blue. It looks blue on the chart and in the sample pot...but not sure it is blue on the wall.

Any feedback please?

It is a murky green blue, darker than Light Blue but in the same family. I love it!

The softest Farrow and Ball blue is Borrowed Light.

By the way, several F&B so-called blues are closer to green when on the walls. Dix Blue and Light Blue are definitely green. So is Inchyra Blue. Dimpse is lilac.

It is blue. I have it in the bathroom with white. It's amazing - everyone loves it.

If you want a really, really pale blue - nordic - I used Little Green China Blue in pale.

@MM18 that's interesting re: F&B Dimpse. Have you used it? I was going to get it for some furniture I'm planning on painting as I thought it was a nice pale grey. Might not bother now if it's got lilac tones. I would have bought a tester anyway but at a fiver a go I'd rather not waste money on testers that are going to be no help!

Yy Dix blue, I git a sample & it’s more like a greeny duck egg Parma is IMO more blue than grey, has anyone tried oval room blue I was toying with this for my hallway, as an alternative to grey.

MM18 · 13/09/2018 17:18

Oval Room Blue is...green! Sstunning colour though, also with a blue tone. I’d saysame family as Light Blue and Parma Grey.

Dimpse is a grey-lilac.

I have used just about every F&B colour over the past years. Love the stuff. Not great paint coverage but definitely the nicest colours of any range.

Best truly neutral grey is Pavilion Grey but Dulux have an identical colour in their range

If you want it to lean grey-ish, try Wickes Powder Grey/Blue. I have it my my spare room and it's a lovely colour.

MM18 thanks another tester pot to add to my collection I think.
