Bedroom Blinds - stay neutral or add colour?

I'm living in my house nearly 2 months and I still have no blinds or curtains on my bedroom windows. Groan.

The walls and wardrobes are white, floors are wood. The bed is oak and there are some brass fittings in the room too. The window frames are also white.

I can't decide whether to keep things pretty neutral and just order fairly white roman blinds, or should I go a bit wild with something like this:

I'm afraid of tying myself to one 'colour tone' with the blinds, but at the same time, the room is so bland at the moment.

What do you suggest? Cheers

I would stick with fairly neutral colours, but then add brighter colours in curtains and cushions and rugs etc. You can have blinds with a decorative tape trim of a matching bright colour at the bottom hem seam of the blind. Depending on what's in the room, there are a lot of neutral shades.

What colour is your bedding?

A little bit of colour looks great in an otherwise white room. Makes it a lot more homely.

My bedding is just random bedding! Grin Doesn't really have a 'theme' or consistent colour tone (yet).
