Ikea kitchen worktops

We are looking to move in the not to distant future but whilst out kitchen isn't dreadful the worktops definitely need replacing. We have a tiny budget. We thought we would get Ikea worktops, but the longest length is 246cm. We need maybe 260.
Can you join them on a length? Say in front of the cooler or a square in the corner? Tia

I think you’d be better without the join; I think the standard length is 3m. I know you said you have a tiny budget, but I think B&Q have cheaper worktops, or maybe a local timber supply company.

Is it a wooden worktop you are after? I'd recommend worktop express, they cut to fit. We messed them around with changes to sizes about 4 times, they were so good and the oak worktop we have is perfect and cheaper than Howdens and B&Q.

I've looked at them, it's just laminate. I think even with the delivery worktop express is going to be the way. Thank you.
