I've attached a photo of the kitchen in the house we've just bought. It has a wooden floor, cream cabinets, "Kashmir White" granite worktops, blue-grey tiles and grey walls. Somehow it just doesn't work.
We can't afford any major alterations to the floor or worktops, but we think some colour-scheme changes to the walls and tiles could make a difference.
We are thinking of painting the grey walls white, and that we probably need a warm colour for the splashback - maybe replacing tiles with glass.
Any suggestions on colours for the splashback?
Additional info: The other side of the room has space for a signature sofa and I have my eye on a plum-coloured one, but only if I could make it work with the other kitchen colours - last thing I want to do is create another clash.
