Curtains for a pre-teen bedroom

I need some inspiration for curtains for DS1's (9.5) bedroom. The walls and carpet are neutral coloured so there are no colours to match or use as inspiration.

I would like to get something that is not going to be too 'young' in a few years, which I think my current favourite fabric would be. Currently he has a really old blackout roller blind left when we bought the house and I really want to get something decent sorted out soon.

I'm happy to get something made-to-measure or good quality ready made, but I'm currently overwhelmed with making a choice about fabric and need some help.

Bump for any more ideas

We have navy blue with white stars. Could be a space theme when they’re younger if they like that and doesn’t look too babyish for a teenager later on.
