Pax wardrobes as fitted wardrobes?

I'm really interested in anyone who's bought the pax system but had them fitted with different doors and possibly coving (?!) So they look like fully-fitted, floor to ceiling jobs.

My dilemma: bespoke wardrobes are v expensive but less hassle as someone else designs and fits from start to finish. Pax plus carpentry is cheaper but more hassle and I'm trying to find out if the finished wardrobes are worth it. Our wall is slightly complicated as it has a chimney breast too so we'd need three differently sized carcasses which would inevitably lead to some dead space as the standard pax widths don't correspond completely with the spaces.

Would really welcome thoughts and experience! Thank you.

We did this in a couple of rooms

Main bedroom had different height pax interiors and the (Pax) doors were cut at an angle to cope with the slope, so no dead space

Other rooms were cut down in height to fit

A box room combined pax and billy bookcases (two back to back to get the depth right) two fill the width of the room

a good joiner wouldn't find it an issue
