Light fittings

All light fittings in my new property are beyond yellowed, so I'm replacing them all.

For most of the house I was just going to have a bog standard pendant and shade but wondering if something else could be nice for lounge, dining room, kitchen and hall/landing (the latter are very dark, no natural light source of their own).

Budget is small and house is fairly modern (built early 1980's).

I’ve been looking at lights recently. Dunelm and Asda both had some nice ones. What style is your furnishing/interior?

Furnishing is mostly just IKEA things and fairly simple - I have young DC including a looney toons Taz extremely lively 3yr old DD, so nothing is fancy or expensive.
