Which tiles for ensuite?

Getting ensuite refitted with new furniture, mirror, towel rail and tiles all over.

The sink and toilet will be one unit. It can either be white gloss or a dark grey unit (pictured). Which one would you pick? And which colour of tiles to go with them? Light or dark?

The ensuite is fairly small.

Do you think the dark unit against the light grey tiles in the first picture (the tiles on the right wall) and then the dark tiles in my shower back wall?

I like the dark unit and tiles better , I would use a grey grout as white doesn't last as white long but lighter grey gives a nice contrast
Having said that I've only used a tile as a splash back and just painted walls , the shower has floor to ceiling tiles to match

However if you went dark and dark I would hold a tile up against the unit first to see if the lines are obvious and if the look odd at right angles to each other

Definitely the dark unit.

I don't like the dark unit, it crowds a small ensuite and limits your tiling choices down to nothing.

My ensuite has white units and mainly white tiles, but the back of the shower is tiled with high gloss cobalt tiles and looks fab.

I like the dark one ...you could put pearly grey wall tiles with it ...

We went for a similar unit in white, with these tiles on the walls
