We've just had some wooden (white) Venetian blinds put up in our living room. We still have our curtains hanging, they are never pulled just hang there, they are a plain deep plum colour, textured weave material, as our walls are painted white, with the exception of one wall whichever has a very light grey simple patterned wallpaper, so the curtains are the only real colour in the room. Anyway, would it be better to take the curtains down? Do venetian blinds look better without curtains? We had awful pvc verticals before & the curtains kind of took the focus off them.
