I'm looking for a blinds/curtains solution for loft velux windows - we didn't want to get the blinds on the windows in the usual way because we like to have the windows open at night. I thought about having curtains with a rail they hang behind at the bottom of the window but this won't really work as the windows are in alcoves and there isn't a vertical wall below them.
I was thinking that a good solution might be regular roller blinds that fit inside the alcove but not attached to the windows (the windows open out). But I've called a couple of blinds places and they just say no straight away. The blind would need to be taut and have a way to fix them at the bottom.
Has anyone tried to do anything like this?
