Anyone got one? Has it lasted well or moulted badly? I am on holiday in Norway and I am being seduced by them in the tourist shops.

I’m fancying a pair of them, either as bedside rugs or draped over a couple of chairs. But a quick google suggested that they shed badly and don’t last long, unless you spend loads on top quality ones. However, this info came from sites that were trying to sell me very expensive top quality ones, so I am sceptical.

Anyone got any experience?

Awful awful awful! We bought one in the highlands and it’s beautiful but sheds soooo badly. We have tried it three times but put it back in stairwell after a few weeks each time as the hair gets everywhere. Can’t recall how much it was exactly, maybe £150 ish, so maybe it’s a cheap one?

I've only seen them in scandi duty free shop's. Nah not for me

They are cheaper than that here, Notname, but go up substantially with online suppliers, so sounds like yours is mid-range. Hmm not encouraging.

I live in Norway and have plenty of experience with reindeer skins. Hate the things. They always moult, however expensive they are. Not for indoors in my view, but fine on the patio.

Thanks. Think I’m going to give them a swerve.
