Paint colour and curtains/ blinds to go with Lamp Room Grey Kitchen

Just ordered our new kitchen with quite a bit of help from the DIY board here.

It’s DIY kitchens Harewood Lamp Room Grey. It’s a south facing room with plenty of natural light from above and from the south facing windows. Floor will be Dijon limestone.

I need a very light off white paint for the walls, any ideas? I don’t have any grey elsewhere in the house so colours that go with grey tones are a bit unfamiliar.

Budget can stretch to f&b or little greene etc.

Also, I need ideas for curtain and blind fabric. We will have a big window and French doors. I’m thinking something fairly traditional or subtle, don’t like big prints or bright colours much, but I do want the curtains to soften and brighten the room. I don’t want it all monochrome.

Thanks!

A warm sunny white us best in a s facing room eg dulux jasmine white or F and B white tie.

Thanks Mrsramsayscat do you think a warm white would go with a grey kitchen though? I was thinking it’d have to be a slightly grey/ cool tone?

We've just had a DIY Kitchens Linwood in Lamproom grey.

We have painted the walls in Jasmine White (although there's not much exposed wall) and it looks beautiful.

Our room is North/East facing so in some lights the cupboards look almost green, the colour works really well throughout the day.

WaxOnFeckOff thanks for the link, I hadn’t thought of check. Pale blue would go with our le creuset set Smile

fruitstick that’s good info how do you like the new kitchen? I’m delighted the colour can look greenish, I always wanted a green kitchen but didn’t like Sage so much or Dakar.

I quite like a check Smile, it always feels clean and fresh and very unisex. Loved gingham when my boys were young.

I'm delighted. Honestly, it's so beautiful! I didn't like the sage either but this is the perfect colour.

I’d love to see if you don’t mind posting photos. We couldn’t go to the showroom so we are buying blind and hoping for the best. I did get the sample doors and I looked at a lot of photos!

Re the walls F&B recommend Strong White with Lamp Room Grey, so I’ll get a sample of that and of jasmine white and see what I think.

OP check out Susie Watson fabrics, seem to fit with what you’re asking for curtain/blind fabric to work with the kitchen
