Made.com beds

Can anyone share experiences of beds from made.com?
We need a new king size and I’m in love with the Edwin bed. Another option is the besley.

A bit worried about the low prices. But then our current cheap ikea bed is 10 years old and like new.
Help me make my mind up wise mumsnetters.

I’ve read so many horror stories about Made from a few different sites, I’d never by furniture from them. Might try their accessories but nothing I’d need serious quality from.

I've never bought a bed but had other furniture. It was beautifully made and we had great service from them. And it was reasonably priced.

I’ve got a sofa bed from them - it’s fantastic quality. I’ve also been to a holiday home furnished with loads of made.com stuff. Again, it was really lovely and great quality.

I’ve never googled their reviews, but I’m surprised to hear they’re not good.

I know! They have some great looking stuff and I’ve been tempted, but I have just heard so many awful things.

My new Roscoe bed from Made came last Friday and I love it! Bit of a wait for it to arrive but came when they said it would, it went together well and seems really sturdy.

We have a king size ottoman storage bed from there, had it a year now, feel it has got a little creaky and we had to do a diy fix to stop the base from raising up into the air randomly, but I do love the style and think it’s at least equivalent to ikea quality. We also have a sofa bed from there and while it’s a great bed it’s a rubbish sofa. Again I love the style. It’s annoying you can’t really try them out before purchase. Delivery service from them has been excellent. I think overall they don’t quite meet expectations for quality, but the price and style is pretty good. I would buy from them again.

Oooohhhh king, thank you. The roscoe bed is on our list too, so that’s good to know. I fancy the Aegean blue.
How long did you have to wait?

I’m looking at the Roscoe in Aegean blue too! I can’t seem to find a way to order a fabric swatch for it though.

We got this garden set earlier this year from them: www.made.com/copa-outdoor-lounge-set-citrus-green And we’re really impressed by the quality and comfort so I’m hoping the beds are of the same standard!

@Frolicacid I think it was 4 weeks - but said that on the point or order and it was (unlike some other online furniture places that said 4 weeks then keep pushing it back grrr!)

We've also got lightshades from there which are beautiful!

powerjen, I love the Aegean blue. Have also failed to find a fabric sample. I fancy it next to a boldly coloured wall. Maybe a really bright orange.
