Paint colour for baby's room

Hi all! DH and I are planning to decorate the nursery soon before our little one arrives in October. We've already bought some furniture (cot, wardrobe and chest of drawers) in a pale grey and are wondering what colour to paint the walls which would go with these items - can anyone recommend a nice Dulux shade? We plan to keep things gender neutral and want a warm, cosy, soothing tone. Any ideas?

Yellow could work, along with nude shades.

WE used one of the shades of white and decorated the room with pictures until DC’s were old enough to have specific interests and then decorated with their choice of themes.

Apple white - free in calming or a pale turquoise

I went for a grey and pale pink theme for my daughter and painted the walls polished pebble which is a pale grey with no hint of blue or pink as most grey testers I got seemed to have. We've just moved and I will certainly be using it again.

Go with the nude shades. It will surely give the great effect.

We went with white walls and did colorful accent furniture. We did our baby’s name in letters from www.houseofcrazi.com. My sister made us some cute grey window covers and her husband did some pipe curtain rods.
