What chair style to go with rustic kitchen table?

Our kitchen table is reclaimed pine, 'rustic' country style similar to the pic here www.ezlivingfurniture.ie/rustic-reclaimed-pine-6-seater-dining-table-polygon.html]] not stripy though). We have matching benches but need a couple of extra chairs to go at each end when there are extra people eating in the house. To date we've been using crappy old chairs that came with the house. Would anyone be able to suggest something inexpensive but not twee or ugly?!Confused

Windsor chairs are traditional and timeless. If I was buying I would go for them, especially the ones with arms, I have chairs that I bought from heals about 40 years ago, they were rush seated but we eventually had them redone (thanks so much cats) with string woven seats in a dark blue and they are still going strong.

Oh thanks for the reply. Yes I was thinking along those lines - you're right, the ones with the sides are lovely. Ideally I'd like something timeless but also with a bit of a twist or edge. A quick Google shows me that there are plenty of variations on the theme out there. Thanks again.

Any kind of ladder back chairs I think. We have those and they look great painted different colours.
