I’m finally about to bite the bullet and order this sofa but need to decide which fabric and configuration.
Has anybody else got this? DH wants the leather, I would prefer velvet but we have cats and toddlers. Plus both leather and velvet really bump the price up. They now do a velvety chenille grey material in the basic fabric range which could be a possibility. I’d love teal but we have pale blue grey walls so it wouldn’t go.

As for size we currently have a 3 and a 2 seater sofa. I’d get the same again but DH really wants to get a 4 seater. If I got a 2 seater as well I’m worried the living room would look crowded ( DH doesn’t understand why this would be a problem!), so the other option is a cuddle chair. The price difference between a cuddler and the 2 seater isn’t much.

Any suggestions?

Bumping for the evening crowd.

We have the Zinc sofa in the blue colour... I presume teal. Our walls are blue grey and I think it works well. We went with a four seater and an IKEA armchair in grey. We find the sofa extremely comfy. The four seated isn't huge. Four people would be quite snug I'd say sitting on it.

That’s lovely but my walls are much more blue than yours so I don’t think it would work unfortunately.

A grey would work well... There's a few shades of grey available... But did you spot the green... It's fab? Smile

I think the green would clash terribly with our walls. The pic I attached above is the colour we have but it looks even bluer on the walls.

I love the velvet French Grey but I think velvet is hard to keep clean? I'm not sure its worth the extra £250 if it's going to be a nightmare. I like the leather too but I've only seen a cuddle chair in leather - it might be a bit much in a sofa?

I need to stop dithering really!

I love the velvet but some people hate the texture of it so that's something to consider.... We paid for a coating to be sprayed on the sofa and some cleaning guarantee... It was about 200 euro but we were afraid not to get it. No spills so far but we have two young kids so it's always a possibility.
I'm not a fan of leather but it is so practical.

Dop you mean the texture when you sit on it? I love the look of it but I haven't ever actually seen the velvet in real life. They only ever have the blue or grey fabric in stores I've found.

Which colour did you go with? And how many seats? My husband is convinced the 3 seater is too small - it measures only a few cm smaller than what we currently have.

D'Oh sorry you've already posted a photo of yours!!

it's the feel of the velvet on their skin... I know some people hate it... But if you and your family are happy with it, it's irrelevant. Definitely get the 4 seater. It's not huge. I would consider it more a three seater. My husband wanted to buy a three seater as well as there was such a tiny difference in price between the snuggle and the three seater. But I thought it would make the room cluttered so we settled on an IKEA wing armchair in grey.
