Organising a lounge / reception

I have never had a house without a hallway before.

In the new prospectively property the access to the kitchen is via the lounge.

I would be grateful for any tips of how to organise the room so it has a flow Andy when’s walking across it’s not ‘disruptive’.

We had this at our last house. I had a sofa back against the imaginary corridor from the front door so one end of the room was sort of sectioned off as a cosier sitting area.

Thanks. I thought of that but not sure how narrow it would make the room.

I have been pouring through properties in Rightmove but did not get much inspiration

How big is your room? And where does the door come in?

Its 2 rooms - 13 by 10 and 16 by 8, with a door at the top left and a small bag in the front.

I can’t seem to attach a picture.

To be honest I have no idea how I am going to organise the room with a tv and couch as I quite like the
