Porch flooring

We have a 1930s semi with a later built porch. It's long and narrow and I'm really struggling with what to use for flooring. Currently it's a horrible blue carpet. The hallway etc beyond that door is orange/beige stripes so it needs to not clash with this. I had thought encaustic tiles but can't find anything I like enough which doesn't cost the earth. And because it's a tiny area (3m x 1m) the bigger tiles look a bit silly with only 2 across.

Ideas??

Quarry tiles? Think they'd be in keeping and the dark grey ones wouldn't clash with your carpet. The red ones might work with your carpet.
