Any ideas for dining table covers that are child friendly and where to buy?

We have beautiful dining table but it permanently has a vinyl cover on top. Really fancy a change.

All ideas welcome!

Well I just buy vinyl ones and replace when I fancy a change - John Lewis and Dunelm both sell a variety patterns in that wipe clean oilcloth stuff.

I find The Original Factory Shop vinyl covers really good. They are quite soft compared to some and fairly cheap so can be replaced when the ds put a match down on it or cut their apple up on it!!! I am looking forward to the day when we don’t need a cover. I also have a thick heat resistant cover under the vinyl cover for the reasons above!!

Friends have 3 huge pieces of glass on their wooden table, it extends so they take the 'leaf' piece of glass off sometimes. It looks classy.

They had then the pieces cut to order at a local glass merchants. They made an accurate paper pattern and took it in.

Dunelm have a great selection that you can buy by the metre.

I have had a vinyl cloth on mine since 1995 Smile

The latest one is from John Lewis by the metre and disputed it being expensive still bloody stains

I had a really nice one from Sainsbury's that was £15 but got stained by curry... so now it's the curry cloth

eBay is full of by the metre stuff
