Which paint with this wallpaper ...

Hello. We have chosen this wallpaper for the back wall of our bedroom..just one wall. Which paint goes best with it on rest of walls...a dark blue or a green (that’s dulux willow tree)...OH and I are not in agreement. And I do realise the wall paper (esp on a feature wall ) is not to everybody’s taste but we really love it...so, if you liked it which paint would you choose?

I’d go a shade or two darker than the dark one. A deep, decadent navy.

Could you find a green closer to the green of the feather in the wallpaper? I like the blue but it might be quite dark. I don't think that green goes with the wallpaper, do between the 2 there the blue.

Definitely the darker shade.

The darker one, it makes the paper much more luxurious. With the lighter one it would feel like you were toning down your feature paper rather than embracing it.

Dark blue I’d say. Will look lovely in artificial light. So grown up yet cosy. Lovely wallpaper

Definitely the darker blue. The wall paper is gorgeous but you have to be careful not to look like a Palm Beach socialite circa ‘79.

Oooh thanks everyone for your replies. It’s OH who likes the blue so maybe I should listen to him more :). One issue I have with it is we have an en suite ...door opposite the wall with this paper on...feel a white door (as well as the bedroom door) would really stand out from the dark blue...any ideas on door colours?

Colour matched satinwood same colour as the blue for the walls?
