Paint inspiration for bedroom

I'm looking to get rid of the dark green(!) walls in our very bright, East facing bedroom. It's a big space with huge bay window and high ceiling. There is a dark blue, not navy, carpet we're not replacing as it's too good, oak fireplace with neutral tiles and a dark green splashback behind the sink, but I'm not really bothered about that as you don't really notice them. We have an oak bedframe and oak furniture. Any suggestions?

We're looking at blues but don't want anything too pale or lilac toned - tried Dulux Denim Drift which looks great on the sample card: purple on the wall!

F&B Light Blue. Looks a bit grey on the colour chart but in a big room it's just a really soft light blue that also looks v good with dark green plants so should tone well with your tiles - and the oak furniture too.

Thanks for that @Lawrence22. I have found that anything remotely grey looks lilac on the walls! We had to repaint the living room after one coat because of that and the bedroom is above it so same light so I'm apprehensive, but will take a look.

dulux quintessential blue - it looks blue on our walls - but I guess it has a hint of grey

I rather like little greene bone China blue. Greyish but not purple. Something like the airforce blue might work with your carpet, if it's not too dark.

Thanks for those suggestions. DP has vetoed a deep or bright colour although the room can take it. I'm ordering a couple of Dulux testers so will look at Quintessential Blue too. Who sells Little Greene paint?

John Lewis sell little greene and they sell via their own website. Just done my own bedroom in absolute matt emulsion in stock - deep and it was lovely to work with and I used much less than expected.

Borrowed Light is a nice soft light blue. We've got it in a NE facing bathroom.
