Looking for some advice on the Next Faux leather sofa range.
We have two small dogs and two cats in an open plan house. This means that they will be on the sofa's - we are ok with this. However, after having a fabric sofa for a little less than 3 years - which is absolutely ruined - we have concluded, we need to go back to leather.
I've been looking at "bombproof" leather sofas, I know it's not literally bombproof but will not show as much damage as a polished leather.
DH has now thrown a curveball and got some samples of Next's faux leather - it looks good, and seems very resilient - we have been testing it with scratches and spills and haven't managed to mark it yet. It's not cheap by any means and is priced the same as the real leather.
The pets aren't destructive, they are all in, or headed to senior age. We aren't worried about chewing, just the standard stuff like scratches, moulting hair and occasional dirt/mud.
Is this fabric as good as it seems? Does anyone have experience with this range with pets?
