Hello,

I have a cream sofa (fabric shown) and would like to change the cushions.

I’d like to bring out the colours in my fireplace (shown). How would you describe the colour of the bricks?

So far I’ve found one cushion with the right colour palette (shown) but it’s very rough fabric. You can see it has a bit of the nameless brick colour in it.

All ideas welcome. I can’t “see” colours in my head so I find this stuff hard....

Please help with colours (including how to describe them!)

Russet and burgundy I'd say Smile

That is a difficult one..it's almost like a chestnut brown..or a chocolate brown.

Hmm tricky. It could just be my PC screen of course but I would say mahogany and walnut and/or cherry.

glad it's not just me!!

I want that really dark colour in the cushions (possibly mixed with cream thread) and don't know how to describe it!

Teapot brown

Sorry that wasn't much help.
Teapot brown is a standard fireplace tile colour so you could order a sample from a fireplace shop or online from somewhere that supplies fireplace tiles.
Take this with you to buy cushions.

Ah teapot brown it is then!
