Where Can I Buy a decent Single bed now that Warren Evans have gone bust?

Sorry, possibly most middle class furniture question. The last two beds I bought were from Warren Evans, and I really like their stuff - solid wood, classic shapes and really durable. Where else is like that?

I’m specifically looking for a bed for a 5 year old, so either a single with storage or a single with a trundle bed under for sleepovers.

There's a company called Trade Secret which buys good quality bankrupt and surplus furniture & sells at a discount. They have a website and 2 or 3 warehouse/shops, one near Banbury, not sure where the others are - might be worth looking if you are anywhere near.

I’m also in the same position - I need two new beds and I’m of the demographic for whom my default position was always Warren Evans. I think a trip to Ikea is on the horizon: I’ll put my divorce lawyer on standby.

My brother bought a wooden single from them and it’s still perfect 25 years on. We got a super king and from them 12 years ago and it’s still super. They were cheaper than Warren Evans.

Agree with the Taurus recommendation - I’ve had both and they easily as good as Warren Evans. And proper wood, unlike a lot of the Ikea stuff, if that matters to you.

They back!!! I was looking for the mattress for my boy- and was really glad to see this! I’m so glad there is natural organic product from reliable company. Price is great - specially that I’m not planing to buy mattress every year. Unfortunately they don’t make beds yet. Though, gives an impression that they might will be in the future - there is “sign up here” window on the website.

Warren Evans back in business - working on Industrial estate in Bounds Green N11 North London. Sell kids mattresses at cost price as they think all kids should have a decent mattress!
Just been down there & spoke to Warren Evans who is a decent person trying to run an ethical business without blowing his own trumpet. Be nice if people could support him in his new endeavour after he was forced out of Camden by ridiculous rent.

Never heard of them in lived in london 17yrs! They have a website with beds and frames on there still! What am I missing?
