Help me choose a bedroom colour

We are renovating and redecorating most of the house soon and I feel like I can't make any more decisions 🙈

Bedroom furniture will be white and in an old English style, carpet will be pale taupe with a fleck through it.

Room is large, bright and airy with a large bay window.

I'm leaning towards maybe all white (too clinical), pale mauve, pale dusky pink?

Any other ideas?

I'm not sure if I could convince my DH on the pink though tbh. I had to compromise on the lovely antique French style furniture i wanted as he said it was too frilly so pink might be a bit much for him Grin

I have a similar bedroom - very light with massive bay window and white shutters. I went for grey (boring I know) ammonite farrow and ball, and then had fitted wardrobes done in purbeck stone. It's nice and calming but just so grey, I wish I'd gone for white wardrobes instead. But I've accented with green plants and mustard colours (throw, cushions) and that seems to work well.

I do like grey! However, my hall is white and grey and dining room grey. Bathroom is going to have grey tiles too.

Forgot to add I will have a white deep pile rug on the floor and have lovely white furry throw and cushions on the bed.

Maybe mauve will work as I think it would tie in ok with the taupe carpet?

Will need to get onto Pinterest I think!

What about a pale turquoise or teal?

I love turquoise and ds playroom is bright turquoise but I don't like it in a bedroom for some reason.

We used Dulux gentle fawn. It’s a very soft colour that sometimes looks pink, sometimes stone and sometimes like a pale putty colour. It works really well

That sounds nice @Catinthecorner and probably something DH would be more amenable too Grin

We have gone for a very soft blue with a blue woodcut style paper behind the bed. We will have white furniture tho but I had similar colours with traditional oak furniture and it looked lovely too.
