Displaying coins in a fun/creative way

I have a coin collection of about 100 coins I'd like to display in some kind of way. I was thinking about putting them in a frame, but that sounds a bit boring. I have seen other people cover their floors in 1p's or 2p's, but I'd like mine to be accessible in case I ever get hard up and have to spend them lol.
Anyone have any creative ideas?

How about one of those glass topped coffee tables with lots of little square sections below? The glass is like a lid iyswim..have seen these used to display all sorts of collections of small things...
