Colour schemes

I want to update my whole downstairs
Currently it’s cream with brown furniture and sofas , we decorated 10 yrs ago! We have splashes of red in the living room and green in the dining room .
The kitchen is cream stone and dark wood cupboards. I can’t update this at the moment but want to tie it all in as it is connected to the dining room by an arch .

We have a living room , den ,dining room, kitchen and hallway to do .

Any ideas on updated colour schemes . I looked at dulux polished pebble, chic shadow and goose down and they seem cold and dull .

Do you use Pinterest at all? I'm doing a similar job and redecorating every room in our new house. I've found it invaluable for coming up with ideas. You literally just sea h for colours schemes or room styles or even just things like. Modern green kitchen and it brings up hundreds of pictures you can use for inspiration or a mood board

I've used it to go from a photo of the kitchen in the new house to having a plan of what I want and more importantly what I don't want

Also ours in connected to the dining room so this is how the dining room will plan out....so it's the same colour but used differently
