Paint colours for kids rooms

Both of my kids (DD 7 and DS5) have new bedrooms in our extension and I need some decorating ideas! We are using dulux Paints and DS says he wants blue and yellow and DD is liking pink, purple and turquoise! The rooms are not huge but double height ceilings so lots if wall! Am vaguely thinking of a coloured feature wall that they could have wall stickers on (easier to change than wallpaper) then keeping the other walls quite neutral (grey or white). I have a vague turquoise, dark pink, grey/white colour scheme in my head for DD but struggling with how to make yellow and blue work! What do you have in your house? Any ideas? Thank you 😊

There's no reason yellow and blue can't work, just keep them the same tone, and choose one to be the main colour with the other colour in small amounts. I like the idea of grey walls too.
