Hi, we have been offered a council property which we have to paint and refurbish ourselves. We are painting everything white. Will that be too dull?
We also will be taking our current furniture with us instead of buying new one just for the same of it. We got a lovely sofa a few years earlier for a very good price but it's in red colour. More like burgundy. Our family members make fun of us for going for that colour but it's such a good sofa for such a good price! I need help in decorating the living room around that colour so that it doesn't look out of place and feel warm and welcoming. So white walls and red sofa to begin with. We have full length windows that open in the balcony with a nice view, will white voile look good with it? Also what colour carpet will look nice and practical?
Also any advice on getting cheap carpets in east london?
