after some style advice - we currently have steel grey granite worktops and are putting in an island. i have the option of putting a slate slab on as a work top, but aren't sure if they would go together. colour wise they are similar dark grey, but the granite is 'shiny' polished and slate obviously very matt? and probably would be harder to wipe clean/look after....
any thoughts? terrible idea or statement?
