Help me fill my big ensuite (not a stealth boast!)

We're refitting our ensuite bathroom and as it's an old bedroom it's quite big. I'm wondering if putting a small chair/sofa in there would fill the space or would anything upholstered go mouldy and smelly?

Depends on how much 'dry' air there is in the room to affect fabric.
You may get away with loose covers that can be washed and properly dried regularly.

Why not have a wooden bench instead? Would look quite nice.

I’d rather have a large storage cupboard.
