Anyone with Victorian hall/path tiles?

Does anyone have a house with Victorian hall tiles and porch/front path tiles? Does the porch colour/pattern continue into the hall? Or does it change at the doorstep?

We're considering putting Victorian floor tiles back into our hall. It's currently got a light oak floor, which is beautiful, but not especially practical. Our front path has faded red and yellow Victorian quarry tiles. Our hall doesn't have any Victorian tiles in it.

We have two layers of original Victorian wallpaper in the hall (which is currently being redecorated). The first is red/yellow, but the upper layer (also circa 1890s) is brown on cream, which clashes horribly with the front path tiles.

I'd prefer to do the hall in black & cream, but don't know whether it would look weird with the red/yellow porch.

we only have them outside.
they are being replaced with modern tiles this summer as the original ones are dangerous. very very slippery in wet weather.

I haven't but love them. We've got terracotta hallway tiles from the 1930's though Grin
bluerunningshoes that's a shame Sad

we will try to get nice victorian style tiles, but the old ones are beyond saving. the can't be brushed to make them safer and the sand we put out to give grip doesn't look nice either.
