Want to get some new low maintenance garden furniture (currently have wood which is a pita). Wanted a metal set. Saw this one which I really like

but the care instructions say to store indoors during the winter which I don't want to do! Can anyone suggest what I should be looking for! Don't want to spend more that £400.

Thank youSmile

Is the webbing seat/back plastic?

Just had a closer look. Anything with an adjustable element needs shelter from rain. Anything else can stay out. I have two chairs that have been out for four years now. Admittedly I live in Australia, but it does get wet in winter.

Judging by chairs I've seen dumped on nature strips, the whole chair is fine, it's the feet that rust, so don't let them puddle.

The ones you can leave outside are more expensive. I got mine from Lazy Susan. I think the website is lazysusanfurniture.co.uk.

Cast aluminium - anything made from that.

Jamie Oliver has some designs made from it (cushions not designed to be left out though!) and we've got one. Had it a few years now and it still looks great.

Hartman have a really good selection of cast aluminium furniture (and make the Jamie Oliver range). It does cost a bit more but I think it in the long run it is a good choice.

I have cast aluminium and whilst it is. More expensive it's absolutely fine left out all year. I just gave my table a scrub as there was a bit of a greenish tinge and it looks perfect.

Mine has 8 chairs so came to a fair bit, but my mil just bought a small table and 2 chairs from wyevale for around 280 as they had 20% off
